Welcome to my website! I am Jackson, a Computer Science senior at KU
graduating in May 2026. I currently work as an Undergraduate Research
Assistant developing autonomous racing systems, and serve as
Vice President of the KU F1Tenth Club. I also work as an I.T.

Developed Python control scripts for autonomous robots at the Computer Systems Lab at KU.
Robot Operating System
Developed TLN Variants, a ROS2 package for creating and testing machine learning models to a RoboRacer platform.
C++
I implemented a modified end-to-end CNN for F1Tenth autonomous racing, used to represent KU at IROS 2024.
I.T
I closed 260+ help desk tickets and installed technology upgrades for an 800+ employee base at the City of Lawrence.
Machine Learning
I research edge ML for autonomous systems under Prof. Heechul Yun, training CNNs in PyTorch/TensorFlow and deploying them via TFLite on constrained hardware for RoboRacer competitions.
C
I used C for embedded systems work, including a voice-controlled car that classifies commands via a neural network.
